WORK AT WAUKAWAY
As a member of our summer staff, you are part of a team that is responsible for making sure that the groups who attend are able to have a fun, exciting, safe camp experience, while having the opportunity to share with the campers about the love of Christ. As a summer staff member, your job is to facilitate activities, meals, and events so that group leaders can be free to interact with their students and allow the Holy Spirit to have an impact on their lives.
All staff take part in the American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED course, and are trained to serve as lifeguards at the waterfront. You will be trained to lead team-building/leadership training activities and recreational games. You will also be trained in various food service, housekeeping, and customer service skills. In addition, some summer staffers may be taught other skills such as campfire building, running a sound board for worship, making pancakes, and much more!!
